Bruunmunch was founded in 2008 by the two childhood friends Jacob Munch and Henrik Bruun from the southern part of Denmark, Esbjerg. Bruunmunch’s style has evolved into a niche of its own, interpreting previous design aesthetics from the 1950s and `60s and renewing them to fit a modern lifestyle. They design and produce high-end contemporary furniture with identity using long lasting and durable materials, all made in Bruunmunch’s homeland Denmark. Their collaborators have years of experience working with furniture through traditional Danish craftmanship. Careful quality and pride go into each of the pieces. It is important to Jacob Munch and Henrik Bruun that their designs are manufactured in Denmark with traditions and values.
